Magical Items
Below is a list of the magical items used in our campaign.
Ring of Ignition
The Ring of Ignition is a relatively common magical item. The wearer of the ring can once per
day cause a candle-like flame to appear on the ring. This flame acts as if it were a candle
and thus can not do any great damage. This items primary use to Dungeoneers is to light fires
or perhaps in desperate need to light thier way. When lit, the flame lasts for 5 minutes or
until the wearer covers the flame with thier hand. The wearer can never be hurt by the flame.
Attack Amulet
The wearer of this amulet is able to have two attacks when in melee. This
magical item is extreemly rare.
Winged Boots
These boots are considered rare. They have been imbued with magic that lets the wearer
move at twice thier normal speed for as long as they wear the boots. This only effects
movement of the feet, so it does not allow the wearer to get 2 ATTACKS.
Amulet of Luck
This magical item is considered rare. The wearer of the Amulet is surrounded by magical Luck,
thier LUCK score is always treated as 1 higher than it really is while the Amulet is worn.
Heal-All Potion
Drinking this potion restores the Dungeoneer to thier original STAMINA.
Flask of Flaming Death
A Fragile glass flask containg a liquid that bursts into flame when
the flask is broken. It is a sticky concoction that does 1 Die of
STAMINA damage per turn for 3 turns. Best used against Mummies! If
thrown against anything flammable, such as mummies, they are left
on fire.
Wand of Fear
A Wand (stick) that can cast the Fear spell. Used like a Bow or
a Gun, the Dungeoneer points the wand and makes a SKILL check to
see if they hit the target. Like the normal Fear spell the target
gets to make a Test for LUCK. A Wand of Fear usually has 1 - 6
charges (uses) before it becomes a useless stick.
Bow of Lightning
A Bow that can be used as a normal bow, but has the magical ability to fire a
lightning bolt once per day. A normal Bow skill check is made, and the victim
may make a Test for LUCK to avoid the 1 die of damage the bolt causes. If the
lightning bolt causes 6 points of damage, it also stuns the target for 1 turn.
Wand of Fire Bolts
A Wand (stick) that can cast the Fire Bolt spell. Used like a Bow or
a Gun, the Dungeoneer points the wand and makes a SKILL check to
see if they hit the target. Like the normal Fire Bolt the target
gets to make a Test for LUCK. A Wand of Fire Bolts usually has 1 - 6
charges (uses) before it becomes a useless stick.
Scroll of Shrink
A scroll has magic writing upon it. Anyone who reads the text must
make a SKILL check. If they fail the check the scroll is rendered
useless. If they pass the test the scroll disapears and then the
reader is Shrunk as if a Shrink spell had been cast on them
Scroll of Teleport
A scroll has magic writing upon it. Anyone who reads the text must
make a SKILL check. If they fail the check the scroll is rendered
useless. If they pass the test the scroll disapears and then the
reader Teleports as if the Teleport spell had been cast on them.
